7/14/2010 Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — July 14, 2010 — GHN-Online, the healthcare industry’s leading provider of real-time, revenue cycle management solutions, announced it has received certification from The Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC) for electronic health network. The Maryland Health Care Commission is an independent regulatory agency whose mission is to plan for health system needs, promote informed decision-making, increase accountability, and improve access in a rapidly changing health care environment by providing timely and accurate information on availability, cost, and quality of services to policy makers, purchasers, providers and the public.

The MHCC certification demonstrates that GHN-Online meets a number of national and local standards intended to ensure high quality business operations and technical performance, and the existence of sound privacy and security policies.

“We take special pride in the ratings we received to earn the MHCC EHN certification,” said Azadeh Farahmand, CEO of GHN-Online. “We are continuously going above and beyond to ensure we are performing to the best standard possible and that we are delivering a high-quality, comprehensive service to our customers.”

“We appreciate GHN’s commitment to meeting its network performance standards and demonstrating its ability to deliver best practices,” said Kathleen Francis, division chief for Maryland Health Care Commission.”

Previously this year, GHN-Online received renewal of their Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) Accreditation status, which they have held since 2004. The Maryland Healthcare Commission certification criteria falls in line with those of EHNAC while requiring additional standards for healthcare transaction performance, privacy, and security.
