Azadeh Farahmand
Founder & CEO, GHN-Online

Azadeh Farahmand is the founder and CEO of GHN-Online as well as the principal business architect for its online products. Her responsibilities include the strategic vision and growth, planning, business development and achieving the long-term goals for GHN-Online. With over twenty years of experience in healthcare in both operations and information technology, Azadeh has an intimate knowledge of revenue and reimbursement management, process improvement and a thorough understanding of how corporations can leverage technology to optimize their business processes and bottom-line.

Prior to forming GHN-Online, Azadeh consulted with companies to help improve their competitive position through the use of technology. These included clients in some of the most complex and challenging healthcare segments such as mobile and transitional health facilities. Azadeh has also held IT and management positions in healthcare management companies such as Medical Care America, Medical Care International, Alternacare and AMI. In each case, her responsibilities focused on the areas of process improvement, workflow management, IT management and process engineering. In the early 90’s, Azadeh was the author and designer of a Decision Support System (DSS) that became the cornerstone for data modeling and enterprise reporting across various platforms.

Azadeh and her husband along with their nine-year-old daughter reside in Plano, Texas.
